In an exclusive report from 91Mobiles, developer Kuba Wojciechowscki revealed a fresh set of details on the impending foldable Pixel tablet. Internal and exterior dual screens will be included on the Google Pixel Fold (also known as “Felix”), and Samsung will produce both of them.
The Pixel Fold internal display is claimed to have dimensions of 123mm x 148mm and supports a resolution of 1840 x 2208 (5:6 aspect ratio). Wojciechowski claims that the internal display will have an output peak brightness of 1200 nits and an output average brightness of 800 nits. The source claims that the display could offer a 120Hz refresh rate, although this is not confirmed.
The Felix’s triple camera hardware, consisting of a 64MP IMX787 primary camera, a 12MP IMX386 ultrawide, and a 10.8MP S5K3J1 telephoto lens, was previously revealed by the same developer. Additionally, there is a second S5K3J1 for the external selfie camera and an 8MP IMX355 selfie camera on the internal display.
A second foldable gadget is referred to as the Google “Felix.” Google reportedly had plans to introduce a foldable in late 2021, but these were later cancelled. As a result, they must have started developing the device’s replacement. It was claimed that the first Pixel foldable will include a 7.6-inch internal display and a more modest array of cameras (the same ones as the Pixel 5).
