The business has introduced the Redmi Writing Pad in India, a cheap slate that can be used by both adults and children for taking notes and drawing instead of a true Android tablet.
The Redmi Writing Pad has an 8.5″ LCD screen, and according to Xiaomi, it emits no light and simulates the appearance of writing on paper, eliminating eye strain after prolonged usage. Weighting 90g, the slate is made of ABS plastic.
Along with a pressure-sensitive stylus, the Redmi Writing Pad also has a pen that enables you to change the size of your strokes to produce various hues. With a slide and attach mechanism for simple access, the 5g stylus is lightweight.
By pressing the orange button once you are through drawing or taking notes, you may clear the screen. In order to prevent the material from being removed from the screen, the Redmi Writing Pad also has a one-tap lock on one side.
Although doing so would have made the Writing Pad more helpful, it appears that you are unable to sync the material with your devices. An advertised 20,000 page writing capacity is claimed for the replaceable button cell (CR2016) that powers this tablet.
The Writing Pad is available for INR599 ($7/€7) on the official Xiaomi website in India and comes in the colour black.
