Galaxy S23 will not touch the 4,000mAh mark next year as well.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series will be the next series of devices in the Galaxy S series lineup. Given how average the battery life of the Galaxy S22 is, it was expected that Samsung will work on the battery size with optimization. However, the rumors state that the Galaxy S23 will yet feature a smaller battery, with a slight upgrade, but will not touch the 4,000mAh mark again.

The rumors come straight from the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. User Digital Chat Station has claimed that the upcoming Galaxy S23 will feature a 3,900 mAh battery, with a typical capacity of 3,785 mAh.

However, this is expected that Samsung will let users squeeze more out of the battery using the next efficient SoC. Not only the S23, but the Plus is also getting a 200mAh bump to 4,700mAh.

More is to leak before next year. Stay tuned!
