Samsung, even after announcing 4 years of major OS updates, only covers just smartphones launched after 2021, that too top-end models. But it is a surprise that the Galaxy A11, which is an entry-level smartphone in which was launched in the month of May in the year 2020. As for the specs, it came with Snapdragon 450 SoC, along with a big HD+ display.
As for the update, this might be the last major OS update, and is now entitled to security updates for the upcoming years. It is already 2.5 years after the launch, and now the device is getting the Android 12 update.
Since this is an entry-level smartphone, Samsung has decided to give OneUI 4.1 Core in the update, with the firmware version A115FXXU3CVI3, along with the August Security patch. If you own one of the devices, then you can get the update soon from Settings > Software Updates > Download and Install. As of now, the update is rolling out in South-East Asia.
