Although Apple took a long time to upgrade the AirPods Pro, the AirPods Pro 2 is now available. Apple is introducing a new low-distortion driver and amp that can handle a broader spectrum of sound frequencies, powered by the H2 processor. The in-ear silicone tips and side stems are still part of the design as previously.
Apple’s new surround sound technology includes a feature called tailored spatial audio. It functions by building a custom spatial sound profile for you based on the dimensions of your ears using the real depth camera on your iPhone.
Advanced computation audio is used for active noise cancellation (ANC), and microphone location is adjusted. According to Apple, the second generation AirPods Pro should provide 2x greater noise cancellation than the original.
A new option called adaptive transparency listens to loud noises around you and eliminates them while also reducing the effect if you are farther away and in a quieter setting, like a construction site. Additional touch controls for volume changes have been added to Apple’s Force sensor control points.
6 hours of listening time and 30 hours with the case are the estimated battery life. The new charging case has a speaker that can emit high-pitched noises to aid in finding it and is compatible with the Find My service due to UWB. The case can be wirelessly charged with any Qi, MagSafe, or Apple Watch charger as well as with its Lighting connector.
Apple AirPods Pro 2 will be priced at $249. Pre-orders start on the 9th of September while the sales are starting on the 23rd of September.
