Why choose Pixel 6 Pro over Pixel 6?

Pixel 6a just launched a few hours ago, and well, is on trend for the “60Hz” display on Twitter. And yet, the Pixel 6 series is the better option for the money you can buy – given it’s a flagship with no cost cutting, unlike the A-series. But what if you have the money, and you want to buy a flagship, what do you choose between the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro?

TL;DR – Get a Pixel 6 Pro because of all the features it provides. or get the Pixel 6 if you want a flagship but do not like a curved display and if telephoto isn’t much of a use for you.

As for the specifications, you may ask, both of the devices come with Google’s custom Tensor SoC. The Pixel 6 comes with a 90Hz AMOLED display, whereas on the other hand, the Pixel 6 Pro comes with an LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Both of them are HDR10+ compliant so no issues with HDR10+ video playback. For storage, both the devices come with 128GB/256GB, however, the Pixel 6 Pro also comes with 512GB storage, along with 12GB of RAM for all the storage options. On the other hand, the Pixel 6 comes with just 8GB of RAM.

In terms of the camera, other than the usual 50MP main sensor, and 12MP ultra-wide on both devices, the Pixel 6 Pro comes with an additional 48MP telephoto sensor with 4x Optical zoom.

if the specs are not that interesting for you, and you want an expert opinion, here is a video by Lenny about why you should spend the extra $300 and get the Pixel 6 Pro.
