Nothing Phone 1 isn’t coming to US, for now.

In a statement, Nothing confirms that the Nothing Phone 1 isn’t going to be made available widespread in the US and Canada, instead, only a few selected users will get the devices first, as a closed beta.

Anyone trying to get a hands-on the Nothing Phone 1 in the US, as PCMag says, will see inconsistent services on the T-Mobile, no VoLTE on AT&T, and zero services on Verizon. The reason is, there is lot more to go into the launch.

“It takes a lot to launch a smartphone as you know, from ensuring the handset is supported by the country’s cellular technologies to carrier partnerships and local regulation, and as we’re still a young brand we need to be strategic about it.”

The reason is quite similar for the other brands as well – no proper breakthrough in the US market. Only two smartphones are currently dominating the market right now – Apple and Samsung. On the other hand, Google is also trying to build its presence for a very long time.
