The Google Pixel Watch is a much-anticipated wearable that is expected to encourage more people to switch to WearOS. The latest report comes from 9to5Google, which cites a source that reveals details on the battery life predicted on theWatch, which was previously teased.
The Google Pixel Watch is expected to last up to a day on a single charge, according to the source. Because the Watch has yet to be published, this number does not represent Google’s official battery figures. As a result, the officially advertised battery endurance may change once the Watch is available.
In addition, the source also claims that the Watch has a 300mAh battery. This is most likely for the base model, while the battery size of an alleged LTE variant is unknown.
Meanwhile, reports from earlier this month suggest that the Pixel Watch would use an older Exynos 9110 chipset from 2018 manufactured on a 10nm technology, the same chipset seen in the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2.
The Watch will be released later this year, along with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, in the fall.
