Moto confirms launching a phone with a 200MP sensor in July.

Moto China has confirmed that they are going to launch a smartphone with the new Samsung 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor in July. This might be the rumored Motorola Frontier smartphone that has been revolving around for quite a long time. Moto China has shared a teaser image for the same on its Weibo page.

As said, the sensor used on this phone will be the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 200MP sensor, which is capable of capturing both 12.5MP and 50MP images with pixel binning and is capable to record 8K at 30FPS out of the box.

The specifications that are rumored are a 6.67-inch pOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, a 60MP selfie camera, along with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. For storage, Moto might go with both 128GB and 256GB along with 8GB and 12GB RAM options. A 4,500 mAh battery will power the device, with a 125W charger supporting it. There will be wireless charging available, which might range between 30W and 50W.
