HarmonyOS 3.0 will launch in September, new Beta rollout to begin next month.

HarmonyOS 3.0 was set to launch last year, however, due to some unknown reason, the rollout was put to a halt. However, Huawei has started working on the HarmonyOS 3.0 again.

This news comes from the Chinese Microblogging site Weibo by the user named Changan Digital King, who attended the Developer Innovation Contest, confirming that the HarmonyOS 3.0 will start rolling out in the month of September with Beta updates rolling out the very next month – that is in the month of May.

However, Huawei hasn’t confirmed anything about it as of now. As per the rumors, the new version will only polish the UI with not many changes to the UI. Moreover, you can now use ArkUI – a declarative framework that can be used to make apps for the OS using TypeScript or Javascript. Moreover, this rollout roadmap is for the existing devices, whereas the Mate 50, which is yet to be launched will come with the new HarmonyOS out of the box.
