WABetaInfo has reported a new feature that was under development, has gone live with selected users. The Message Reaction is the concept that is available on RCS, Meta’s Messenger, and Instagram (with Messenger Update). The only platform that missed it was WhatsApp. And now, the feature is going live for some selected users.
The first Beta version 2.22.8.3 is going live for Android Beta users but only selected users are getting this feature. Users can only use six default emojis right now. However, there is not much information as if Meta will let the user select more emojis during the feature release.
As of now, no plans have been unveiled by the company as to how much work is left with the feature to complete and roll out for normal users.
