iPhone 14 will come with two different SoCs.

Apple will now start making and shipping iPhones with two different SoCs, as the new rumors claim. As per the new rumors, iPhone 14 will come with two different SoCs, depending on the model. And the rumor source? Long renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who somehow claims the said rumor.

As per the rumor, iPhone 14 and 14 Max will come with A15 Bionic, whereas the Pro and Pro Max will be shipped with the new upcoming A16 Bionic. If you haven’t noticed yet, I have mentioned iPhone 14 and 14 Max – which means that Apple is also moving away from smaller Mini-series devices making the iPhone 13 Mini the last of its kind. With the iPhone 14, we will get to see two 6.1-inch models – vanilla and the Max, whereas the Pro and Pro Max will come with a larger 6.7-inch display.

In terms of RAM, we will see a difference. Across all the devices, you will see 6GB of RAM, but the Pro and Pro Max will come with faster LPDDR 5. On the other hand, the 14 and 14 Max will come with LPDDR 4X.

As of now, Kuo hasn’t confirmed why Apple is following this approach.
