Realme has launched its new Realme 9 Pro series today. The series consists of Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ with some new never-seen features, mostly aesthetical features. There is a color option in both the devices called Sunrise Blue, which is made out of a photochromatic material, which changes color from Light Blue to Red when in sunlight. That too under a very low price.
Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ specifications.
Realme has done a very odd job in the selection of the SoC for the devices, and for the naming as well. The 9 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 695 SoC, whereas the Pro+ comes with a Dimensity 920 SoC. Out of the box, both the devices will have the choice of RAM between 6GB and 8GB. However, in terms of Storage, the 9 Pro will get only 128GB of storage, whereas there is an option between 128GB and 256GB.
The 9 Pro will come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz panel, whereas the Pro+ will come with a 90Hz panel. In terms of the battery, the former will come with a 5000mAh battery, whereas the latter will come with a smaller 4500mAh battery. In terms of the camera, the former gets a 64MP main sensor, with 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor, whereas the latter gets a better 50MP Sony IMX 766 Sensor with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro. Out of these, the macro sensor is the most useless one in 2022.
Out of the box, both the devices will come with Realme UI 3.0 on top of Android 12. As for the colors, both devices will come in Sunrise Blue, Aurora Green, and Midnight Black.
As for the pricing, the device will cost ₹17,999 as an introductory price for the Realme 9 Pro, whereas the Realme 9 Pro+ will cost ₹24,999. In the UK, the devices will start going on sale starting Feb 23 for a price of £299 for Realme 9 Pro, whereas the Realme 9 Pro+ will cost £349, and will go on sale starting March 4.
