Your next to next iPhone might come with BOE panels.

Apple is working hard to reduce its dependencies on its rival Samsung for the iPhone display panels. But none of the companies are able to match the quality of the display that Samsung makes. Still, Apple is asking LG and BOE to supply their demands for smartphone manufacturing. Given that things might change next year, as the report suggests, more and more BOE panels might be incorporated into the iPhones in the coming years.

As per the reports, Apple is asking for a large number of LTPO displays from BOE. BOE panels are generally used with Non-Pro variants of iPhones, but next year, even a Pro device will get a BOE panel. These new LTPO panels will come with a Stack Tandem Structure which is used to increase the lifespan of the AMOLED display.

The details are still unclear though. If things go in the right way, we might see BOE partnering with Apple for a long time.
