Next year, in the month of February, Samsung is going to unveil its next flagship – The Galaxy S21 series. And there are certain rumors about the device ahead of launch. One of them was about the addition of a 200MP sensor in the upcoming series. However, that remains a short-lived rumor as Ice Universe brings a new rumor to the table.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 series, specifically the S23 Ultra will come with a 200MP sensor. This might be the recently launched ISOCELL HP1 sensor. The sensor is capable of capturing 4K and 8K recording in a wide area. The sensor packs an aperture of f/1.22, with a pixel size of 0.64μm. The sensor is also capable of capturing a 50MP image with 4-in-1 pixel binning, whereas a 12.5MP image with 16-in-1 pixel binning.
For the S22 series, Samsung is going to use a 108MP sensor, a third-generation ISOCELL HM3 sensor. This same sensor is currently being used in S21 Ultra, along with you will see a 12MP ultra-wide and two 10MP telephoto cameras.
