We had no information on the next year’s Galaxy A series smartphones. With the new Galaxy A33 set to release in a few days, and A53 leaks somewhat out, the only remaining device was Galaxy A73. However, the renders are here. And to be honest, we are missing a very important feature here.
The new renders of the Galaxy A73 share nothing much in the design perspective. It retains the old design from 2021’s Galaxy A72. The renders come from OnLeaks from Twitter. In the render, the front side has a punch-hole display. At the back, the camera module still remains the same, the specifications of the sensors are not known. But the rumors suggest that A73 will be the first A-series device with a 108MP sensor.
With the new design, Samsung is moving the SIM slot on the top of the device, with a USB Type-C port at the bottom. Unfortunately, Samsung forgot to add the headphone jack. And it’s the truth. In the coming years, we will see the headphone jack disappearing completely, all thanks to a stupid trend.
On the other hand, chances are high that Samsung might cheap out on the display and equip the smartphone with Chinese manufacturer BOE’s display, instead of in house AMOLED display.
As for specifications, you may see a 5,000mAh battery with support of 33W fast charging. The device will be IP67 certified and will be available in Gold and Black color. The pricing for the Indian market is set to ₹32,999 for the 8/128GB model.
