You can soon react to messages on WhatsApp.

Facebook or say Meta is working on a new feature for WhatsApp. This new feature enables what iOS users generally boast about on iMessage – reaction on message. Yep, a new screenshot has leaked about the feature, although currently under development.

This piece of news comes from WABetaInfo. They have dug deep into the apk of the app and found the feature is currently under active development. Moreover, the reaction will not be private, instead, anyone who participates in the group messages can see the reactions to a particular message in a panel listing.

Although the screenshots are from iOS (waiting for iOS fanbois to comment) the feature is also under development for Android OS, even for Samsung’s One UI as well, which in general doesn’t make sense, since One UI IS running on top of Android. But maybe the company is working on a UI-specific feature. This may come with a Community feature as well, which is essentially a “group of group” feature.
