Russian Court has banned 61 Samsung smartphones in the country due to a patent lawsuit. Since the very beginning, Samsung is not doing well in the country, and with this ban, Samsung is sort of losing its grounds from the country. Instead, Xiaomi has captured the market very efficiently.

The Russian Court has banned the devices due to a claim by a Swiss company SQWIN SA. According to the reports, the company has claimed that Samsung Pay has infringed a patent used with the Russian electronic payment system. The ruling is yet to be made by the country, but chances are very high.

On the other hand, the firm will have a month to appeal against the decision once the bill is passed. The list of the devices is yet to be revealed. But if these 61 devices are banned due to Samsung Pay, then the firm will have a very hard time in the country.
