Motorola Edge 20 Pro made the headlines back in July this year, however, the device didn’t make it into the Indian market. Instead, we got Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion. But now Motorola is launching the Pro variant here in India, directly competing with the things that of Xiaomi Mi 11X.

Out of the box, the Moto Edge 20 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. It is also HDR10+ certified, along with DCI-P3 certification. For the power, you will get the Snapdragon 870 SoC, along with Adreno 650 GPU for gaming. Moreover, you will get 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Under the display, you get a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
At the back, we get to see a 108MP camera sensor with Ultra-Pixel technology. Alongside, we get to see an 8MP periscope camera with 5x zoom, and a 16MP ultra+macro camera. A dedicated “Zoom Mic” is present as well, which will zoom towards the audio direction. Thanks to the big sensor, you can capture 8K video at 24FPS, but you can record 4K in 60FPS max. The front camera also supports 4K recording at 30FPS. You can also record at 1080p 30FPS in ultra-wide mode, but you can also shoot macro footage at 4K 30FPS and 1080P at 60FPS!
With this smartphone, Moto promises two years of major software updates and 2 years of security patches. Only if Moto supported this device with 3 years of updates. But this is what it is. Moto also provides ThinkShield for Mobile for security. This device is also IP52 certified.
Inside, there is a 4,500mAh battery with the support of 30W fast charging. As for the availability, the device will be available on pre-order starting October 3 on Flipkart for a price of ₹36,999 only.
