Samsung has recently rolled out a software update to the recently launched Galaxy A52s 5G. The new update brings what was missing from Galaxy Smartphones for quite a long time – Virtual Memory. In simple words, Virtual Memory, or RAM Plus (as Samsung says) is a concept of using system storage as a virtual RAM for the applications. This will make the apps feel that they still reside in the RAM and will continue to run in the background unless killed.
What do Virtual Memory have to do that Samsung introduced?
Well, this new feature is actually a new iteration of an old feature that exists in modern Android and all other OS. The concept is quite simple. The OS transfers the pages to the disk storage to compensate for the RAM shortage. This will let the app think that they still reside in the memory, and continues to run.
As of now, the feature is available in India for A52s 5G. This new firmware update also brings improvements and stability to the camera for the device. The firmware version is A528BXXU1AUH9.
