There is yet another news on the Andriod 12 Beta 4. According to the reports Android Auto for phones is being replaced by Google Assistant in the latest update.
Any Android 12 user can now take advantage of this feature with the latest update. Moreover, this latest change brings easier in-car navigation. To use this feature; connect the car to Android Auto and try opening “Android Auto for Phone Screens” in the user’s handset, a pop-up message will appear saying to try “Google Assistant driving mode”.
Furthermore, it should be noted that Android Auto has been replaced only for handsets but it is still available only for car screens. So, cars with Android Auto will still work as normal. However, it has been reported that Android 12 will offer similar features as seen in Android Auto for Phone Screens and Google will be expanding and upgrading the built-in driving experience feature along with it.
So, users of Andriod 12 Beta can try Google Assistant driving mode out and see whether or not this feature has made the in-car experience simpler than before the upgrade.
