With the recent Android 12 Beta version, we will see many new updates. The previous, Andriod 11 had bubbles as one of its most standout features when it was released last year. This feature worked similarly to Facebook Messenger. In addition to this feature being used in the dialer app, it also worked for notification and other apps.
The most recent Android 12 Beta 4 version has brought new changes to its existing features. In a post by Android Police, it was reported that the latest Andriod version will permanently replace the Bubble feature with Clip.
Furthermore, Chip includes showing a colored pill-shaped icon for the respective app that is active or in progress in the background on the status bar. The call chip shows up during outgoing calls and has the elapsed time of the call. Along with these, the call notification has a larger card and bigger buttons in the latest update.
As the development of the Android 12 Beta progresses we might get more news of other features to expect with this latest version.
