HP recently launched its first All-in-One with Chrome OS, called HP Chromebase, which brings a new trend in the All-in-One industry. HP is sticking to the “family computing” motto and bringing these Chrome OS computers for family usage. Interestingly, you can rotate the display as well.

The HP AIO will come with Chrome OS as expected. For the display, you get to see a 21-inch 1920x1080p touchscreen. For the processing, you get to see a Pentium Gold or i3-10110U. For the RAM, you get to see the options of [email protected], [email protected] The highest possible option is the [email protected]
As for the storage, the base variant will come with 64GB of eMMC storage, whereas, you can get the faster 128GB or 256GB of NVMe storage. For the connectivity, you get the latest WiFi 6, not the WiFi 6e, and Bluetooth 5. For the I/O, you get to see 2 USB Type-A with SuperSpeed @10Gb/s, 2 USB Type-A with SuperSpeed @ 5Gb/s, and a 3.5-mm headphone/mic-in port.
HP is also including peripherals with the Chromebase – a 5MP camera, a dual-array microphone, Bluetooth Keyboard, and a Bluetooth Mouse.
For the power, you get to see a 90W power adapter out of the box.
The HP AIO will be called HP Chromebase 21.5-inch All-in-One. This new AIO will feature a rotating display, with two positions – vertical and horizontal, best for the light tasks. Moreover, you can tilt the display by a maximum 20-degree. For privacy purposes, you also get to see a camera and mic turn on/off slider.
The Chromebase will be available for sale from HP, Amazon, and Best Buy for a starting price of $600, and will be made available later this month.
With this product, HP is in direct competition with Acer, who was the sole manufacturer of Chromebase computers before this date.
