Galaxy S22 model numbers leaked even before Samsung announcing its existence.

Since it decided that Samsung is not going to make any Note series devices, we still have hopes for the upcoming Galaxy S22 series. This is because it was for the first time in the history of the Galaxy devices that an S-series has got the support for the S-Pen. Moreover, Galaxy S22 might bring some new features from Samsung with some new never-seen features. But other than the high hopes, we have the model numbers of each device out in wild now.

Galaxy S22 leaks might be a real deal as the device is under development.

Previous leaks suggested that the device will feature 65W fast charging out of the box. Also, we might see a 2000MP sensor with Olympus branding.

As per Sammobile, the devices are likely to be called Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. These devices will have model numbers as SM-S901x, SM-S906x, and SM-S908x. You might see a pattern here – the S21 series had a model number starting from SM-G991x, but now you can see that Samsung has switched the G with an S here.

Highly unlikely, but it is rumored that the devices will come with 5G no matter what the model is. Chances are, you might see the devices with 5G even if your country doesn’t have a 5G spectrum as of now.
