Samsung might bring the microSD card slot to the Galaxy S21 FE. Samsung is going on Apple’s path of removing everything from their flagships. Just like Apple removed the headphone jack from their iPhones, Samsung did the same with the charger. Do note that Samsung did mock Apple for the same but following the same way. In the recent trends, Samsung has removed the card slot from their flagship, which might have backfired for Samsung in a way or the other.
Galaxy S21 FE spotted on the regulatory listing in China.
This is yet again coming from China, where the S21 FE edition with model number SM-G9900 has been seen on the regulatory listing. The listing is also revealing some of the specifications of the devices. For instance, you will get to see a 128GB and a 256GB variant. Alongside, the SD card slot will support up to 256GB only, which in many cases is more than enough.
Other than that, you get to see 8GB of RAM along with an octa-core SoC, which might be a Snapdragon 888 or an Exynos Soc, which recent rumors confirm for some reason. For the OS, you will get to see the recent Android 11 with OneUI 3.1.1 (?) on the Galaxy S21 FE. For the front-facing camera, get to see a 32MP sensor, with the rear-facing camera module with a triple camera setup – 12MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP for telephoto, with 3X optical zoom.
As of now the release date for the smartphone is not clear yet. Previously, it was rumored to launch with the Z Fold 3 in August but was postponed for the October launch.
