HMD Global, the firm that now produces Nokia-branded devices, is preparing to release a new 5G smartphone before November 11th of this year. During an interaction with users on Weibo, Zhang Yucheng, Product Manager of HMD Global for Nokia Mobile Phones in the Chinese market, stated this.
Following the failure of the Nokia 9 PureView to make an impression on the market, we heard speculations about the 9.1, 9.2, and most recently the 9.3 PureView, each of which was followed by a rumour of a delayed launch. Even the rumours have died out.
According to ITHome, HMD is working on a 5G flagship that will be unveiled in China on November 11 – 11.11, also known as Singles’ Day, a major shopping occasion in China. This isn’t just a rumour; it’s based on a comment from Zhang Yucheng, HMD’s China Product Manager.
It’s been a few years since HMD Global announced the Nokia 9.3 PureView smartphone, which has yet to see the light of day due to multiple delays.
The naming technique for the forthcoming flagship is set to change this year, according to the Finnish business. The name style is expected to change, although the new naming system has yet to be revealed. We’ll have to wait for a brand announcement to find out for sure what the corporation has planned.
