After AMD confirmed that they are working on a mobile Exynos GPU that is based on the current RDNA2 architecture, scaled down for the mobile platform at Computex 2021, we are finally seeing the fruits of their labour. The same arch is used on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and the Radeon RX Graphics card.
Now, according to a new leak by Ice Universe on twitter, the release is a bit delayed from its initial June launch. However, the Samsung x AMD GPU will be launched in July.
Samsung might also feature the GPU in its Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 series. However, we still do not have any idea whether it is for a phone, tablet or a compact laptop. Samsung and AMD could play Apple’s cards to rival the next gen M1 powered iPads and Macs.
