Honor 50 series announced in China, comes with Google Services.

It have been an year when Honor separated from Huawei after the trade ban. After that Honor has been with another Chinese parent company and has launched their Honor 50 series of smartphones today. The biggest point about this device is that it comes with Google Services.

Honor 50 series got good specifications!

The Honor 50 Pro, which is the high-end variant, come with Snapdragon 778G SoC, along with a 6.72-inch FHD+ curved OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. For battery you get to see a 4,000mAh battery along with support for 100WE fast charging. You can expect a full charge within 25 minutes. For the camera, you get to see a 108MP sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide, and a pair of 2MP sensors for Depth and Macro shots.

For the selfie camera, you get to see a 32MP main sensor with a 12MP wide-angle sensor, which Honor claims to be made especially for the video purpose, thanks to the 100 degree FOV.

On the other hand, the standard Honor 50 comes with the same SoC. However, you get to see a smaller 6.57-inch display, and features every thing just like the Honor 50 Pro. On the front-facing camera department, you will miss the 12MP wide-angle sensor, a 66W fast charger, but with a larger 4,300mAh battery.

The Honor 50 SE gets a smaller 6.78-inch FHD+ LTPS LCD panel, along with Mediatek Dimensity 900 Soc. For the battery you get a 4,000mAh battery with 66W fast charger. On the front, you get a 16MP selfie camera, along with same camera system like the other two.

On the software side, all of the three devices will feature Magic UI 4.2 along with Android 11 underneath. For security, the SE variant comes with a side mounted fingerprint scanner whereas the other two features an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Honor 50 series – Global launch and pricing.

Honor 50 Series are set to launch in the coming days in other markets as well. As of now, the pricing of the Pro variant is set to 3,699 Yuan for the 8/256GB option, whereas you have to shell out around 3,999 Yuan for the 12GB/256GB model.

The Standard Honor 50 comes for 2,699 for the base 8/128GB model, whereas you have to pay around 2.999 for the 8/256GB variant. The Top-end variant comes for 3,399 Yuan for the 12GB/256GB. For the Honor 50 SE, you will have to shell around 2,399 for the base variant – 8/128GB.

As for the global launch, Honor will launch the series in 30 countries. And as for the GMS or Google Mobile Services, Honor confirms that the device will go through Google’s Security protocols.
