With its recent smartphone launches, OnePlus is doubling down on its Nord series. Even before the much-anticipated OnePlus Nord CE 5G was unveiled in India last week, rumors about a legitimate OnePlus Nord successor began to circulate online. OnePlus Nord N200 will be the name of this device. The Nord N200 will supersede last year’s entry-level OnePlus Nord N100, as its name suggests.
The Nord N200 5G, which will be available on June 25, is a direct sequel to the OnePlus Nord N100, but with a pricing and spec sheet that is closer to the N10. In any event, for the low price of $240, it’s a fairly good package.
The Snapdragon 480 chipset, which enables 5G support on this gadget, appears first on the spec sheet. This is backed up by 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Of course, wireless charging isn’t available, but 18W wired charging is. A 13MP main camera and a 16MP front camera will be included. There are two additional cameras on the back, but OnePlus is keeping them a secret for the time being. The screen is a 6.49-inch 1080p panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The OnePlus Nord N200 5G will be available both unlocked and exclusively at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. On June 25, Unlocked deals will be available at Best Buy, Amazon, and B&H Photo. OnePlus has yet to reveal what version of Android the N200 will arrive with, as well as what the N200’s future holds in terms of updates and security fixes.
