Look’s like Honor is gearing up for the launch of another lineup, the Honor 50 series. While rumors for the lineup have been in the air since April now, the company has finally announced the launch date for the series.
The company posted a teaser video for the Honor 50 series giving us a glimpse of the new dual-ring camera design for the lineup. In addition to this, the company also revealed the launch date for the series that is on the 16th of June.
While the company has not revealed anything about the specification of the series. The company did previously confirm that the vanilla version of the lineup will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset. Meanwhile, the Pro variant is rumored to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Coming to the Pro+ variant in the Honor 50 series, various reports suggest that the handset will come with a 6.79-inch QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED Display along with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset will be powered by a 4,400 mAh battery that comes with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
As for the camera, it is speculated that the handset will have a Dual-camera selfie shooter with 32MP as the main along with 8MP. Meanwhile, the back end will house a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera along with 13MP ultrawide, 8MP telephoto, and a 3D ToF unit.
