After announcing the Redmi 10S for global markets, Xiaomi has now launched it in India. The system joins the Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max in the country’s current Redmi Note 10 lineup.
The new smartphone is positioned between the Redmi Note 10 and the Redmi Note 10 Pro. A 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display is included. However, don’t expect the same quick 120Hz refresh rate as the Note 10 Pro. On the Redmi Note 10S, you’ll get the same 60Hz refresh rate as the vanilla Redmi Note 10.
In terms of specifications, the phone has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 409 PPI, 8-bit color, 1,100 nits peak brightness, focused punch-hole, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a regular 60Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 4,500,000:1 contrast ratio and is coated by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone supports dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS for networking (GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BeiDou).
The Redmi Note 10S will retail for the following price tags in India.
- 6GB + 64GB – ₹14,999 ($204)
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹15,999 ($217)
