Realme 8 series: Enters Europe

The Realme 8 series has finally entered the European markets. The series entered the Asian markets in late March this year. The Realme 8 series includes two mid-range handsets – the Realme 8 and Realme 8 5G.

Let’s take a look at some of the key features of the handset:

  • Front camera – 16MP (Sony IMX471 Sensor) selfie shooter
  • 5,000mAH battery with 30W Dart charging support
  • In-Display fingerprint reader

The Realme 8 is currently available for purchase in the memory variant of 4GB+64GB which cost €179.

  • MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G chipset
  • 4GB / 6G of  LPDDR4X RAM
  • 128GB  of  UFS 2.1 internal storage with dedicated MicroSD slot for up to 1TB of external storage
  • Rear Triple Camera setup –  48MP (Main camera) + 2MP (Macro lens) + 2MP (B&W Lens)
  • Front camera – 16MP selfie shooter
  • 5,000mAH battery with 18W Quick charging support
  • Side-Mounted fingerprint reader
  • Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 built on top
  • 5G connectivity
  • Colors – Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue

The Realme 8 is available in two memory variants – 4GB+64GB which is priced at €179 and 6GB+128GB which is priced at €229. They are currently available for pre-order and will begin sale from the 20th of May.

The Realme 8 series is has entered three European countries- e United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain. The series will soon be available in other parts of Europe too.
