Looks like Samsung has been working on new chipsets to power its future laptops, the Exynos chipset. Until recently, the company has been using Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset for its laptops.
The new chipset is tentatively being called Exynos 2200. The chipset will feature an AMD Radeon GPU, that will deliver a PC-class graphics performance. While the Qualcomm chip uses the same Kryo 495 CPU core, the Exynos chipset will use the more current ARM Cortex designs.
As of now, the Exynos chipset will feature on the upcoming Windows laptop that is likely to release late this year. After this, the company also has plans of using this chipset on their tablets and maybe in the handsets as well.
