PS5 and PS4 users/players can access a demo copy of the upcoming Resident Evil Village right now. Moreover, Capcom will release the demo for other platforms in the upcoming weeks. As of now, you can enjoy the game for a straight 1 hour.
Resident Evil Village – Play in the Village or Castle, or both. Your call!
In the demo, you have certain restrictions, but a lot of playable areas. As you might have seen in the trailers launched in the early days, the game is divided into two areas – Castle and the Village. In the demo, you can play for a straight 1 hour either in the village or the Castle. Or divide the timing into two. However, even if you get access to the game right now, it will unlock on May 1st. And there will be two demos as well. For the PS players, you can play the game between May 1st, 8:00 PM EDT to May 2nd, 8:00 PM EDT, and May 1st, 5:00 PM EDT to May 2nd, 5:00 PM EDT. Do mind there are two demos in the row.
Additionaly, Capcom also released a trailer which showcases how gruesome a game can turn into. You can watch the game trailer here.
And yet again, we See Chris Redfield here. And what about Ethan (Resident Evil 7 Biohazard)? Well, he is the protagonist here and getting himself beaten up pretty badly. In the meantime, Chris kidnaps Evan’s baby daughter!
And yes, we also get to see the Mercenaries Mode here. I never played much RE, other than dying continuously in RE7, and rage quitting the game, so I cannot say much about the mode anyhow.
Resident Evil Village will launch on May 7th this year, however, other platforms will get a taste of the demo pretty soon. You can read about the dates from the official website.
