Both Apple and Samsung have opted not to include chargers in their new flagship devices (and are expected to continue this trend in upcoming phone releases), so OnePlus’ announcement is a welcome. For those who are familiar with chargers, all phones in the OnePlus 9 line will have the company’s ultra-fast Warp Charge 65 variant, which was also available with the OnePlus 8T.
We expect to see two variants of the device, OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. According to the rumors, both the devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 120 Hz Fluid AMOLED displays, but the 9’s is 6.55″ and the Pro’s is 6.7″. The devices will run Android 11 with OxygenOS on top, and the model numbers for the 9 and the Pro are LE2113 and LE2123, respectively. The other difference between both the devices might be that the Pro will have a quad camera setup instead of three on the OnePlus 9.
