Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A72 4G will launch soon, as the device makes it to the Play Console’s device catalog listing. And indeed, we are going to see Snapdragon 720G on the device, in comparison to the 5G variant which features Snapdragon 750G.
Galaxy A72 4G will be a ‘sort-of’ downgrade in comparison to the last year’s Galaxy A71.

The device catalog listing gives us some of the details about the specifications of the upcoming device. Here, we will see a Snapdragon 720G, along with an FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2010, yet a 90Hz panel. But the resolution might be different or a typo in the listing. Out of the box, you will see Android 11 with OneUI, most probably OneUI 3.1.
However, previous leaks suggest that there will be an 8GB RAM variant, but the listing doesn’t show any as of now. As per the image renders, the A72 will feature an Infinity-O design, which will house the front-facing camera. At the back, we can expect a 64MP sensor, along with a 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera.
