Samsung launched its Galaxy A32 here in India. It’s the first budget mid-range to come with a high-refresh-rate device. As of now, only one single variant is available for purchase.
Galaxy A32 – Mid-range device with 90Hz display.
The Galaxy A32 becomes the first mid-ranger from Samsung to feature a 90Hz display, which is obviously an FHD+ panel, a Super AMOLED panel with Infinity-U design. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Out of the box, you will get Android 11, however, the OneUI version is unknown. Meanwhile, all the tasking and operations are handled by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. Alongside, you get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is the only variant available.
However, you have different color options to choose from – Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome White, and Awesome Violet. The front-facing camera is a 20MP sensor, whereas the rear camera is a quad-camera setup with 64+8+5+5MP sensors, which are the main sensor, ultra-wide, depth, and macro respectively. but you are restricted to FHD recording at 30FPS.
For power, Samsung has given a 5000mAh battery along with a 15W fast-charger inside the box. And it also features the legendary Pokèmon – the headphone jack!
You can purchase the device for ₹21,999 (yikes) from Samsung Online stores only.
The features of the device – 90Hz display, mediocre recording capabilities, and the processors, the price looks like to be a bit too much. In fact, if you buy this device, you device, you are just paying the premium for the 90Hz display. Samsung has also cut corners with their 64MP main camera. You cannot record at 4K-30FPS as well, given how most 64MP sensor devices can record at 4K 30FPS.
