In yesterday’s flagship event by Spotify, there were major takeaways. It included Spotify’s plans for the coming years like expanding to new markets, new tools for creators, and new podcasts.
Launch in New Markets
Perhaps the major takeaway from the event was the expansion in more than 80+ countries around the world.

In the past years, Spotify has introduced itself in countries like India and South Africa. It is now planning to further tap into countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Kenya, Bangladesh and more which will cater to more than a billion people.

Spotify is also partnering up wtih speaker manufacturers to stream HI-Fi music through the wireless Spotify Connect feature.
Video Podcasts and Q&A

Spotify has been investing a lot in the podcast space as well and it is now looking to make them more interactive. The company will introduce options for creators to host polls and Q&A sessions. You will also see more video podcasts in the coming days.
