Google was working on a TikTok rip-off on its YouTube platform. And now they have confirmed that the feature, called Youtube Shorts, will soon launch in the US market starting March, this year.
It will be the same implementation that we saw on Instagram last year. You can record and post a 15sec to 1min video and post on YouTube directly. As of now, the beta period in India was a big success, and was views freaking 3.5 billion times daily, that too globally!
And now, Google is planning to launch the YouTube Shorts in the US market this March. However, do note that this is not a complete rollout. Its still in beta phase and is gradually rolling out to every user. Other than that there is no confirmation if this feature will roll out in other markets as well.
