Samsung is preparing for the launch of two premium mid-range handsets in the Galaxy A series. These include the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. While many leaks on the handsets have been surfacing since last December, the most recent one suggests that the handsets will launch next month, Mid-March.
Galaxy A52 4G/5G
Let’s take a look at some of the speculated features of the handset:
- 6.5” Super AMOLED Dot-Display with 90Hz refresh rate
- Snapdragon 720G chipset for 4G / Snapdragon 750G chipset for 5G
- 6GB / 8GB of RAM
- 128GB / 256GB of internal storage
- Rear Quad Camera setup – 64MP (Main camera) + 8MP (Ultra wide camera) + 5MP (Macro lens) + 2MP (Depth sensor)
- Front camera – 32MP selfie shooter
- 4,500mAH battery with 25W fast charging via USB Type-C port
- In-Display fingerprint reader
- Android 11 OS
- IP67 Rating
- Colors – Blue, Lavender, White, Black

As of now, the Galaxy A52 is expected to launching India, Vietnam, and Europe. It is speculated that the 4G variant for the Galaxy A52 in Vietnam will cost somewhere between VND 9.3 and 9.5 million. While the 5G variant might cost up to VND 11 million. Meanwhile, in Europe, the 4G variant will cost €350 and €430 for the 5G variant.
Galaxy A72 4G/5G
Let’s take a look at some of the speculated features of the handset:
- 6.7” Super AMOLED Dot-Display with 1200Hz refresh rate
- Snapdragon 720G chipset for 4G / Snapdragon 750G chipset for 5G
- 6GB / 8GB of RAM
- 128GB / 256GB of internal storage
- Rear Quad Camera setup – 64MP (Main camera) + 8MP (Telephoto lense, 2X optical zoom) + 12MP (Ultra-wide camera) + 2MP (Macro lens)
- Front camera – 32MP selfie shooter
- 5,000mAH battery with 25W fast charging via USB Type-C port
- In-Display fingerprint reader
- Android 11 OS with one UI 3.0 on top
- IP67 Rating
- Colors – Black
It is speculated that the 4G variant for the Galaxy A72 will cost up to €450 for the 6GB+128GB memory variant and €490 for the 8GB+256GB memory variant.
