Samsung launched its new F-series device – Galaxy F62 in the Indian Market. This device is the second addition to the F-series after F41 launched in 2020. The device features a two years old processor, which was used in the S10 and Note 10 series.
Galaxy F62 – hit or flop ?
For specifications, the Galaxy F62 comes with a massive 6.67-inch AMOLED display along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Dear Samsung, leave the Gorilla Glass 3 behind and bring in Gorilla Glass 5 at least. You will see Android 11 with full One UI 3.1 onboard, but for some reason, Samsung’s posters mentioned One UI 3.1 Core, but anyways. The display will have a punch-hole, which will feature a 32MP selfie camera. At the back, you will see a quad-camera setup – 64MP sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.

As mentioned above, Samsung is going with its Exynos 9825 SoC, used back in 2019 in their Galaxy S10 and Note series. It is a 7nm processor, with Samsung’s custom Mongoose Cores. You will see two Mongoose M4, two Cortext-A75, and four Cortex-A55. For GPU, you will get Mali-G76-MP12. You will have two options to choose from 6GB or 8GB RAM models, both coming with 128GB storage. Moreover, you can see a 3.5-mm headphone jack. Inside the box, you will also see the general USB Type-C PD 25W Superfast charger as well. This uses Type-C to Type-C cable.

Since you are getting full Knox and NFC, you also get full Samsung Pay (useless junk anyway) along with Bluetooth v5.0 and many others. Moreover, you get a massive 7,000mAh battery. You also get to choose between three different colors – Laser Green, Laser Blue, and Laser Grey.
The 6GB model will cost you ₹23,999, whereas the 8GB model will cost you ₹25,999. The Galaxy F62 will be available from Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Samsung Stores, and available for purchase starting 22 February, 12 noon IST.
Moreover, you get tons of bloat and first-party app ads, yet again!
