Xiaomi has unveiled a new concept smartphone, which Ummm, has just screens. Yup, no ports or holes. This new concept smartphone has only displays on the four sides, but have neither speaker holes or charging port.
Xiaomi Concept Phone. More screens, anyone?
According to Xiaomi, the smartphone features 88° curves, also called waterfall display, no front-facing camera punch-hole, instead, it comes with a third-generation under-display camera from the company.
The firm also claims that the phone was made possible thanks to breakthrough innovation in bending the glass and laminating it. Also, the phone features a unibody design and has no buttons on either side. Therefore, the phone uses pressure-sensitive gestures for the power and volume rocker functions. For charging, the phone supports wireless charging and eSIM for cellular function.
Although the device looks promising, we cannot see the device going mainstream at all given how costly it can be to make such smartphones.
