Samsung also makes some rugged smartphones if you don’t know. However, you cannot buy it most of the time, because these smartphones are meant for specific use cases only. Just like the last year, Samsung is again going to launch another rugged device, the Galaxy XCover 5, whose specifications have surfaced already.
The Galaxy XCover 5 will come with a model number SM-G525F, and will sport a 5.3-inch HD+ display with a slightly higher pixel density than the conventional HD+ displays. Out of the box, you will get 64GB storage, along with 4GB RAM. For camera, you will get a 16MP main sensor at the back, along with a 5MP selfie camera.
For battery, you will have to go with only a 3,000mAh battery, however, with 15W fast-charging support. Since you get fast charging then you also get a USB Type-C port as well. Out of the box, the device will support LTE as well.
It is the successor to the previous year’s XCover 4s. The XCover 5 will come with Exynos 850 and Android 11, according to geekbench.
