If you are thinking to pair up your AMD Ryzen with the upcoming cheaper Intel Xe graphics card, stop there for a minute. You cannot use Xe graphics card with AMD systems, and also with systems having processors till 8th generation.
According to Intel, The GC will be sold as an integrated part of a pre-built system, along with 9th gen and 10th gen processors. Also, systems having B460, H310, B365, and H310C will support this graphics card. Moreover, the motherboard will need a special BIOS update for this particular card, thus limiting the usability.
Intel has started working with vendors such as Asus to make them integrate this particular GPU bundled with their pre-built system.
