Vivo has been working on its beta program for its new OriginOS. But looks like the company has some other plans for India. Vivo just released its schedule for the FunTouch OS 11 that is based on the Android 11 beta program for some of its devices in India.

While the X50 Pro has already received the update. By the end of this month, the update will be available on the V19 and X50. Meanwhile, by the end of March, the update will be on the V17. V17 Pro, V15 Pro, and S1. The S1Pro, Z1x, and Z1Pro will get this update by the end of April while the V51 will get it later in June this year.
As for the Vivo V20, it was launched with the stable version of the FuntouchOS 11. Meanwhile, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G got this update shortly after it was launched.
It’s not clear yet as to why India is getting the FunTouch OS update while other markets are shifting to the new Origin OS. Hopefully, we will hear something about this soon from Vivo. Till then wait for the FunTouch OS 11 update as it comes to a big step forward compared to the previous iterations of the software.
