LG has updated its Gram series with new processors, and subtle design changes. You can soon have the option to go with the standard clamshell design or a 2-in-1 design.
LG Gram will now ship with Intel’s 11th generation of processors. Moreover, you will see new Iris X graphics on these laptops with a new bigger display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There will be a massive 17-inch model as well, which will come with a 2560×1600 resolution IPS panel. Although this big, the laptop will weigh only 1.35kg whereas the smaller 14-inch model will weigh only 999g or 0.9 kg.
All of the Gram laptops will be MIL-STD-810G certified, along with fingerprint scanners, WiFi 6 and backlit keyboards. For configurations, you will get the choice to select between 8GB and 16GB. Given how thin the laptops are, expect the RAMs to be soldered to the motherboard. For storage, you will have NVMe storage. In terms of batteries, the 17-inch and 16-inch model will come equipped with 80Wh battery. Whereas the 14-inch model will come with 72Wh.
In terms of ports, you will get USB 4 Gen 3X2 which will also support PD and Thunderbolt 4. Other than that, you will get the conventional USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 2X1, HDMI port, microSD slot and a headphone jack.
One the other hand, the 2-in-1 models will be available in 16-inch and 14-inch models. Also, they support Wacom AES 2.0 stylus pens, and have Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
As of now LG haven’t announced the price yet, but will come soon.
