Xiaomi has finally launched their mid-range device, the Mi 10i here in India for just ₹20,999. The phone launch in a price segment makes it clear that Xiaomi is trying to compete with Moto and OnePlus in the price range this time.
For specifications, the Mi 10i comes with a massive 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, Xiaomi has used the latest Snapdragon 750G, which means 5G is coming alongside as well. Along with the processor, you will find 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
At the back, you will find a gradient finish in Pink and Blue color (in the case of Pacific Sunrise color), and a circular camera module. Inside the camera module, you will find the massive 108MP main sensor which is a Samsung ISOCELL Bright HM2 sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, the device comes with a 16MP selfie camera, under the center punch-hole.
Other features include a 4,820mAh battery, a 33W fast charger, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and a stereo speaker. It does have IP53 certification for water resistance. However, Xiaomi will ship Mi 10i with Android 10 and MIUI 12.
And for the pricing, the Mi 10i will cost ₹20,999 for 6/64GB. The 6/128GB will cost ₹21,999 whereas the 8/128GB will be available for ₹23,999. The fate of the 256GB model is unknown for now. The color options will Atlantic Blue, Midnight Black, and Pacific Sunrise. The device will go up for sale starting January 8th at 12PM IST on Amazon India, Mi.com Store, Mi Home Store, and various retail partners.
