Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on January 14, the company has reported. Reports in the past have reported that Samsung will be unveiling its next-gen Samsung Galaxy ‘S’ series flagship lineup on January 14, and now the company has officially revealed it is holding an event on the same day. Although the forthcoming Samsung flagship monikers have not really been revealed, it did confirm that ‘new experiences’ would be unveiled in mobile technology. The flagship series will be named this year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 range, according to sources.
The company sent out an invite for the virtual event.
“Over the past year, mobile technology has taken center stage in everyday life as people are working from and spending time at home. The accelerated transition to a mobile-first world brings with it the need for devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience.”
According to the leaked renders, the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra design would be identical to their predecessors, with a centre-positioned punch-hole monitor and a rectangular camera module running into the side-frame at the rear. With an Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate, the flagships are said to arrive. Although there will be flat screens for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus, the S21 Ultra is said to come with curved edges. In markets like the US and Exynos 2100 in India and Europe, the company will unveil the Snapdragon 888-powered Galaxy S21. It is said that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will pack up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage which will be running Android 11-based OneUI 3.0.
