Oppo has been working on a slider handset for a while now. Recently, colorful renders of the slider handset have surfaced which gives us an idea about what we can expect from the handset.
Clearly, the Oppo X Tom Ford is a special edition that was designed in collaboration with the American fashion designer and filmmaker Tom Ford. The Camera housing on the rear end has the text “OPPO X TOM FORD – DESIGN FOR CONCEPT SHAKIRA” written below it.
The handset will come with a retractable screen. When the handset is opened vertically, the display area increases by 80%. The front panel doesn’t seem to have any hole or punch for a selfie camera. So we can expect an in-display camera or no front camera at all. Meanwhile, there will be a Triple camera on the rear end along with a LED Flash.
Meanwhile, the design of the handset is particularly spectacular, owing to the collaboration. The slider frame is a classic gold color. The SIM slot lies on the right side, which hides away when the screen is not extended. The handset also has two golden tabs to extend the screen out or perhaps use as a neckpiece.
While the company has not given any official word on the handset. So it still remains a mystery whether this handset will remain a concept or will we actually get to see the handset in the markets.
