Oppo announced its Reno5 series earlier this month. Now, another handset is joining the lineup, the Oppo Reno5 Pro+. The company has just recently provided some information about the handset on their official Weibo page.

According to the posters, the handset will carry Sony’s all-new IMX766 sensor. The Quad-Camera setup will have a 50MP as the main camera. Along with that, we will get to see a 16MP ultra-wide camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The posters also confirm our previous speculation that the handset will carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset and will come with the 5G support.
Meanwhile, previous reports from the TENAA listings confirm that the handset will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ display along with a 90Hz refresh rate. We can expect the handset to come with 8GB/12GB of RAM. For internal storage, it will have two variants – 128GB and 256GB.
The Reno 5 Pro+ will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that comes with 65W fast charging. The handset will run on the Android 11 OS with the Color OS 11 on-top.
The handset is set to launch on the 24th of December. So we won’t have to wait much longer to know more about the handset.
